We’re so excited to have you training with us! Please review the following policies to ensure fairness and smooth operations for everyone.

To ensure a safe atmosphere, everyone must abide by the studio rules.

  • Sunshine Aerial Fitness is a scent free zone. Please refrain from wearing perfumes while at the studio.
  • We are a safe, inclusive, supportive, non-competitive, non-judgmental environment. We welcome students of all shapes, sizes, ages, religions, genders, and fitness levels.
  • We understand that students are excited and eager to help other students, but just a reminder that our instructors are certified to instruct and spot aerials.  Students are not to instruct or spot other students.
  • We have a zero tolerance for rude, bullying, aggressive and/or violent behaviour, whether it be physical or verbal, and will result in immediate termination of any passes or memberships.
  • Please be on time for class! If you are more than 10 minutes late to class without prior permission, you will not be allowed in and will forfeit and lose your class.
  • No rings or hand jewelry.
  • No body lotions or oils.
  • No iTac grip to be used on aerial equipment.
  • No alcohol or non-prescription drugs allowed in studio.
  • Shoes must be removed at the door; no footwear except for “indoor” shoes inside the studio.
  • Please clean crash mats, yoga mats, and aerial apparatus with provided disinfectant after use.
  • Please do not touch or lean against mirrors.
  • Only positive words of encouragement are allowed in our studio. Be kind to others and yourself. Everyone should feel welcome and comfortable.
  • Students must wear proper attire. Proper tight pole shorts or leggings must be worn. No thongs or nudity.
  • Please respect our cancellation policy. Not doing so will result in a “no show” and you will lose your class.
  • Students must register online or on our App to register for classes.
  • No chewing gum.
  • Return all mats, spray bottles, and clothes to their designated spot.
  • If you are at a higher level and are dropping into a lower-level class, you must follow lower lower-level material and instructor guidance.
  • No friends, significant others, or children will be allowed to watch your class. Please have respect for other members.

📌 Important Note


At this time, we are not charging fees for late cancellations or no-shows. However, if frequent late cancellations or no-shows begin to affect class availability for those on waitlists, we may consider adding such fees in the future.


🎟 Drop-In Classes (Non-Series)

  • Cancel 3+ hours before class → Studio credit (no refunds).
  • Cancel less than 3 hours → Pass lost, no credit.


📅 8-Week Series / Youth Series Sessions

  • Cancel more than 72 hours before session starts → Studio credit (no refunds).
  • Cancel less than 72 hours before the start of the session → No credit (no refunds).


🔄 Single Class within a Series

  • Cancel 3+ hours before class → You’ll receive a make-up (pop-in) credit.
    • This credit can be used for:
      • ✅ Any drop-in class
      • ✅ Any 8-week series class (space permitting and as long as prerequisites are met)
      • 🔹 Youth classes → make up credit may only be applied to other youth classes (space permitting and as long as prerequisites are met).
  • Cancel less than 3 hours before class → Pass lost (no refunds)


💳 Memberships

  • Paid Weekly
    • Basic Membership → 8-week commitment.
    • Bronze, Silver, Gold & Platinum → 26-week commitment.
    • After Commitment period → Cancel anytime with 30 days’ notice.
    • With doctor’s note → Memberships can be paused up to 6 months.
    • Non-transferable.
  • Paid Upfront
    • Full-term commitment (no refunds).
    • With doctor’s note → May be paused up to 6 months.
    • Non-transferable.


🎫 Class Passes & Packages

  • Non-refundable.
  • Transferable to another person.


🎁 Gift Certificates

  • Non-refundable.
  • Transferable to another person.


✨ Workshops & Special Events

  • Non-refundable.
  • Transferable if prerequisites are met.


🎉 Parties

  • Non-refundable.
  • Cancel 24+ hours before start → Eligible to reschedule within 6 months.
  • Transferable to another person.


🤸 Privates

  • Non-refundable.
  • Cancel 24+ hours before start → Eligible to reschedule.
  • Cancel within 24 hours/no-show → Pass lost.
  • Transferable to another person.


💰 Payments

  • Fees for series classes are due 48 hours prior to the first class.
  • Unpaid = automatic removal from the series (spot lost).

During the winter months, classes may be cancelled if anticipated daytime accumulation of snow is 10+cm or 5+mm of ice.

If we have to cancel any class due to weather, it will be announced at least 1.5 hours prior to class via our Private Facebook Group, as well as via email to all clients registered in the affected classes. 

 

You will not be charged for the cancelled class, and series classes will be made up at a later date.


This privacy policy discloses the privacy practices for Sunshine Aerial Fitness and applies solely to information collected by this website.


Information Collection, Use, and Sharing


We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.


We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.


Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.


Your Access to and Control Over Information


You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do so by contacting us via the email address or phone number given on our website: www.sunshineaerialfitness.ca

    • Change/correct any data we have about you.

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.


Whenever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way (SSL). You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the Web page.


While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personal identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personal identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

We use “cookies” on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor’s hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site.
